We are still buzzing from our 5th Annual “Winter Get Down” and are pleased to share the official photo recap highlighting our 4-day blend of snowboarding, après culture, and late night energy set against the cozy, mountain vibes of Outbound Mammoth.
Our guests enjoyed multiple days of snowboarding and special nighttime activations at Outbound’s, ‘Bar Sierra’ Tavern which hosted ‘WARM UP’ on Friday Night featuring elite LA DJ’s Heidi Lawden & Lovefingers, alongside New York’s Willy Soul.
Saturday Night featured Winter Get Down’s signature peaktime dance party, ‘THE SEND OFF’, which featured legendary turntablist and producer, DJ Nu-Mark from world class hip-hop group, Jurassic 5, alongside some of LA’s buzzing DJs and selectors, Honey, Sophie Gray, Fly Hendrix, and TJ Mizell.
Outbound Mammoth played host to a dynamic four-day experience that blended relaxation with cultural connection. As a strategic partner, the venue provided an ideal backdrop for curated activities and brand tastings featuring Grillo’s Pickles, Igloo Coolers, Soto Sake, Little Sesame, Creminelli, Flying Whale Wine, Nomina, Forah, Herschel, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Pioneer AlphaTheta, Terri Projects + more!
What made this years Get Down special was that it fell on a very special snowboarders tribute holiday, ‘A Day For Jake’ celebrating the life and legacy of snowboarding pioneer and innovator, Jake Burton Carpenter. Working hand in hand with Burton Snowboards, Winter Get Down guests were treated to the latest and most hi-tech 2027 demo fleet of snowboards.
This year, Winter Get Down was privileged to work with one of the most unique brand partners; the coolest pickle brand in all the land, Grillos Pickles, to help curate a special lineup of DJs following the legendary Ride For Jake.
Additional après activities included a secret Soto Sake and onigiri tailgate party with funky music on Sunday, followed by a heated pool party curated by the crew of Queens at Club Honey. The weekend finished off with a cozy Domino Tournament at Outbound Hotel, benefitting the Hoods to Woods Foundation.
The gathering brought together a diverse mix of snowboarders, creatives, influencers, and cultural leaders—along with local residents and hotel guests—to engage with the vibrant spirit of snowboarding and the aprés music lifestyle in an elevated mountain setting.
